Shinhwa (means myth- or legend in Korean) is a pop- and hiphop boyband initially formed through SM Entertainment and made their debut in March 1998. Shinhwa is the only longest existing Korean boy band in the Korean pop history.
After successful years for Shinhwa they signed a new contract with a new record label named Good Entertainment in July 2003. During their contract with Good Entertainment, Shinhwa members started their own solo activities. Besides performing as a group and solo, and acting, the members were also mentors to the Korean boy band “Battle”. (Wikipedia)
The group consist of 6 members (3 vocalists and 3 rappers); Eric Mun (晸赫, Mun Junghyuk, 문정혁) born February 16, 1979 is the Leader and Main Rapper, Min woo (珉宇Lee Minwoo이민우) is born in July 28, 1979 and he is a Vocalist and also a Composer, Dongwan (烔完Kim Dongwan김동완) born in November 21, 1979 and is a Vocalist, Hyesung (彗星 Shin Hyesung신혜성) born in November 27, 1979 and He is the Main Vocalist, Junjin (前進 Park Choong Jae 박충재) born in August 19, 1980 is a Rapper and also Vocalist, Andy Lee (先皓 Lee Sunho이선호) January 21, 1981 and is a Rapper and the Maknae of the group. Shinhwa suspended its group promotions after its 10-year anniversary concert, and the members went off to complete their mandatory military service. However, the members promised to return to their fans as a group for the first time in four years on March 24. A Shinhwa compay rep said, “The Shinhwa members are making an effort to come back with a better image by working out, abstaining from alcohol and even laying down rules together like they did during their rookie days when they lived together.
